Less than a week until BarCamp Philly 2008! Here are some of the latest updates:
- Registration is SOLD OUT. You must be registered and on our list in order to attend BarCamp Philly. If you are registered and don’t think you can make it, please contact us at any point before the event via email: barcampphilly at gmail.com.
- BarCamp Philly will take place at the Terra Building at UArts, located at 211 S Broad Street. Read more about how to get there via mass transit or where to park if you are driving.
- Doors open at 8am, sessions start at 10am. Please arrive early to help plan the schedule for the day. All attendees are invited to speak, but we will only have about 70 presentation slots. If you want to speak, it’s very important that you arrive in time to get your name on the schedule. Attendees are NOT required to present, but please try to be an active participant!
- Sessions will begin every hour on the hour, lunch will be from 1pm to 2pm. If you are leading a session, please allow enough time at the end for Q&A and for attendees to travel to their next session.
- A BarCamp Philly volunteer will be posted in the 13th floor lobby at all times during the day if you need any assistance.
Remember, the festivities begin on Friday night when P’unk Ave throws a BarCamp Philly pre-party. We’ll finish Saturday night at National Mechanics!
